NCT Part 1 Qualification

Participating institutions must submit the Part 1 Qualification materials by December 5, 2011 and Part 2 Qualification materials by January 27, 2012 in order to be considered for the NCT.

There are options for the campus play requirement:

1. Conduct Power Search quiz(zes) with at least 50 students and submit that list (including scores) along with a roster of the HCASC Club (a minimum of 12 members).
2. Hold a campus tournament with a minimum of 8 teams (24 players).
3. A hybrid option (many are using this) is to conduct Power Searches to identify and recruit players for a campus tournament.

Scoresheets (if running a campus tournament)	Game Play Database Scoresheets are generated by the Game Play Database. With the tournament chart and scoresheets, HCASC headquarters must be able to re-create your tournament.	Upload as a pdf for every match in your campus tournament. Save time by printing each scoresheet as a uniquely named pdf and then merging them into a zip file before uploading.
Participants List (all HBCUs)	Game Play Database You must enter in all the required contact information, into the Game Play Database, indicating how each student participated: Power Search (with quiz number and score) Member of your HCASC Academic Club. Played in your campus tournament	Upload the Participants List after you print it as a pdf from the Game Play Database.
Publicity (all HBCUs)	Download the templates: Official Logo (MUST be used in all promotional materials) Fliers & Posters Bookmarks & Buttons Doorhangers & Table Tents	Upload scanned copies of promotion & publicity materials (fliers, posters, press releases, newspaper articles, etc.).
Key Contacts & HBCU Information (all HBCUs)	Online Form DUE BY 9/23. Required before additional games for campus use are supplied.	Complete online form to update of key contacts and HBCU information (this form is available year-round so contact changes may be made as personnel changes).
Community Service Project Report Submission (all HBCUs)	Online Instructions Online submission begins November 15, 2011. Completion and reporting is extended to January 27, 2012.	Submit online report for completed service project (coming by November 15, 2011).
